Use your Yali Intelligent Pressure Cooker to make delicious, homemade Chilli Con Carne.

1 lb ground beef
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 sweet onion
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 jalapeno pepper
4 cups of diced tomatoes, 2 cans un-drained
2 cans dark red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
3 tablespoons tomato paste
2 tablespoons chili powder
dried basil leaves
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons kosher salt or to taste
1 1/2 cup water

Directions:

Place the ground beef in the pressure cooker and brown it for about 8 minutes. Remove the ground beef and drain some of the grease.

Then, add the olive oil, the jalapeno pepper and onions. Cook for a few minutes until the onions are clear. Then add the garlic and stir. After that, add the remaining ingredients: the ground beef, the kidney beans, tomatoes, tomato paste, chili powder, cumin, salt, and water.

Stir well and lock the lid. Bring the pressure cooker to pressure (15 psi), then immediately lower the heat to maintain this level. Cook for 8 minutes. Stir and let it sit for ten minutes then serve.
